Reiki and Your Plants

An article on reiki and you plants.

Plants can create awesome environments in your home. The feelings of relaxing, remaining grounded, calm, content, and the nature vibe come to mind. The green foliage can be a beautiful decor or accent in any room. The bedroom, living room, dining room, and the restroom can all benefit from styling with plants. Plants do get brown and dry up sometimes. All plants need water, sunlight, minerals, and great air. Like people plants are living and can be more vibrant some days than other days. This usually is based on sunlight and watering schedule. Also like people plants can benefit from reiki. When plants receive reiki they become more alive and more vibrant. After it rains on summer days you can really see this vibrance. This contributes to a more vibrant atmosphere in your home.

There is nothing like your plants. To feel homey take a plant with you to your workplace or office. This plant can be a reminder of home and feeling comfortable. We can grow attached to our plants and they can have a special place in our hearts. These fixtures in our home become the atmosphere we live in. A living decor of our lives.

According to Jill Thiel anything that is living has Ki or life force flowing through it. Plants can help connect you to nature and help you feel nature's energy. Plants can also contribute to your physical energy with vegetables and fruits like bananas, cucumbers, apples and mangos. Fresh prana is the healthiest to consume because it is very vital and vibrant. You can also place reiki into the seeds or water prior to planting or watering for beautiful plants. (Thiel, 2019)

Here are a few reasons why we would want to perform reiki on plants:

  1. It helps the plants grow by stimulating plant growth and promoting healthy energy flow. Reiki can flow to the plants foliage, roots, and stem to aid in growth.
  2. Plants can experience environmental factors like people. Reiki can help protect plants from these stressors.
  3. Plants can grow a strong energy field creating more vibrant plant life.
  4. Reiki like in people can help to heal the plant's diseased or damage foliage. Reiki can help the plant recover and grow again.
  5. Reiki can help with the nature connection. Practicing reiki on plants can create a connection between nature and the practitioner to promote harmony and peace.

Also here is a simple process of performing reiki on plants:

First: prepare the area for a mini reiki session with your favorite plant. Ensure its calm and quiet or with appropriate music playing.

Second: prepare yourself by grounding or centering yourself with a calm breath.

Thirdly: set the intention to heal or help the plant grow.

Fourth: use hand positions over the plant allowing the energy to flow with visualizing white around the plant.

Fifth: think about the process and have faith in the process.

Sixth: be thankful for the process and result of the process.

This is best done by people who have started their reiki journey and received some instruction about how to perform reiki. Ideally with the guidance of a reiki master. Both practitioners and reiki masters can be found on our listings tab we also have reiki masters who facilitate classes to learn how to perform reiki on plants and people. Please take a look at our listings tab for more information and our other blogs.
