​Super existence and super life sound well super. Who wouldn't want to feel not just good but super all the time. Yoga is a practice of wellness. There are several videos on the famous guru Paramahansa Yogananda on TikTok and YouTube. In these videos he displays his mastery of the benefits of yoga. The video titled Paramhansa Yogananda Goes into Samadhi shows a handsome Paramahansa Yogananda lay down and teach about the ability of sleeping for more than one night and being able to remain awake for more than one day. This by today's standards is a miracle. 

​The option to stay up unaffected or sleep unaffected sounds wonderful. Lets face it the human experience is so unrefined and difficult. Typing this I know that being able to stay up unaffected is far beyond feeling tired in the afternoon, Its not feeling tired at all. This is also beyond the expectation of an average man or woman. Although this is possible it almost sounds impossible. Our bodies are more capable than we know. This is something to be appreciated rather something to take for granted. Our instinct can indicate careless nonsense or non important information even though it can affect every second of our life here and now. It is your life and if you want to live a better life filled with the luxury of a lack of fatigue in a literal sense then you would take Paramanhansa Yogananda very seriously. It is important to feel well and also to take responsibility for your lack of motivation, depression, and feelings of fatigue. It's not a miracle it is practice and repetitions. 

​So how long does it take for you to feel anything after your yoga practice? It takes a few days of regular practice to fall into the rhythm of yoga. Like any other habit it takes some time to feel the effects. At first we can be hesitant to want to try anything at all but then it clicks. Before it does the difficulties of life can arise seemingly from nowhere and we feel it. The fatigue and emotions anger, frustration, agitation, and much more. We are like babies who don’t want to get better at this point. After this rollercoaster of emotions and unpleasant sensations we get liberation. After several weeks we begin to feel more of less fatigue and more of less of emotion bad emotion like its something we are working ourselves out of. This new condition is something to work on until it stays around. That is not a miracle but for the untrained person changes in moods, emotion, and energy levels at will is something unheard of. 

​The popularity of such wondrously genius wellness exercises would mean freedom! This would reduce the crisis of over medicating and over indulging. We rarely hear about this type of news on the television and we enjoy cultures of couch sitting and screen watching for extended periods of time. We over exaggerate and lie to ourselves but should we just pick up a meaningful practice instead? Then we complain about people, places, things, religion, and feel restless about ourselves. This should be a standard practice for anyone with a body and energy system that behaves the same way everyone else’s body and energy systems does. There is no real difference between the your body and my body we all react the same to emotion. So this is nothing new to any of us and our lack of adoption of healthy ways to compensate for the human condition is not leading us to a healthier place.
